2008 Summer Coaches

Paul Arneberg has been a performer all of his life and has invested his entire career working with youth. He holds a degree in Speech-Communication with minors in Theatre and Music (U of MN, 1991) and uses his passion for communication, performance, athletics, and good virtues to develop the lives of youth. After a life-changing summer of camp counseling and learning to juggle in 1989, Paul began managing an older childcare program of Edina Public Schools in 1992, through which he founded JUGHEADS in 1994. In 1998, Paul moved the company to Edina Youth Development; seven years later, the company became an LLC and moved to Colony Park Church (now Wooddale Church-Edina). With all-around support from Paul's wife of 15 years, Wendy, along with coaching support from Jughead graduate Scott Richter, JUGHEADS spans 10 grades (3-12), produces an annual Juggle Jam, offers high school lettering, and travels to various festivals and events. In his free time, Paul enjoys movies, running, free weights, and Christian studies. Currently, Paul is developing sideline work as a speaker, writer, and solo performer.
Scott Richter has been juggling since he was a tiny 6th grader in middle school. Now after five years in the JUGHEADS Company and graduating from Minnetonka High School in 2007, Scott coaches with Paul Arneberg at three weekly school year clubs along with school release day camps (and now summer camps!). His passion for meaningful relationships with kids and adults alike equip him for working with kids (and parents) to learn the art and sport of juggling while developing friendships. A two-time IJA bronze medalist and experienced stage performer in Juggle Jams and a variety of gig venues, Scott combines his love for technical juggling and theatrical performing to create entertaining routines for all audiences. Besides juggling, Scott's personal interests include music of all sorts, entertainment, super heroes, and self-discipline regarding physical wellness and his relationship with God.
