Arriving, Eating, Juggling, Departing
Drop-off & Pick-up:
- PLEASE USE THE CHURCH PARKING LOT AT ALL TIMES for drop-offs and pick-ups of Jugheads for all clubs and camps, including parking for any duration of time (even if just to retrieve your child).
- PLEASE USE THE SIDEWALK and walk to the SouthWest entrance on the West side of the building to enter JUGHEADS. (Door 7) For security reasons, please avoid using the main doors of the church for getting to the JUGHEADS area of the building.
BACKPACKS & SNACK: As Jugheads arrive after school, they'll go downstairs and put their backpacks and coats in the hallway outside of the snack area. There are bathrooms right there where they should wash their hands before snack. Snack will only be open for 10 minutes after the last Jugheads arrive any given day. Snacks and drinks are ONLY allowed in the snack area on the designated tables.
ACTIVITY AREAS: During our juggling time, two main areas will be open: the gym and the snack area (area below the gym).
PICK-UP: Please have your child use the sidewalk and wait for you to pick them up in the parking lot. Or, park in the parking lot and meet your child inside.
Here are some basic suggestions for getting to JUGHEADS:
- Walk from South View or ECC to CP. This takes about 5-12 minutes. The VVMS activity bus stops at SVMS, reducing those middle schoolers' walk by two blocks. Two current Jugheads have walked from ECC to CP for piano lessons since 3rd grade, so there is precedent for this idea.
- Carpool with JH families. Networking is key; seek out others in your school who may be able to help shuttle kids to CP.
- Arrange
a special drop-off w/Edina Transportation.
