Release Day* Juggling Camps
Juggling is a great hobby for improving hand-eye coordination, athletic & performing ability, self-confidence, and even character. It's also FUN! Camp begins with a group meeting to share goals and watch inspiring juggling videos & live demos. Beginners will start with one beanbag and work up to a successful three ball "cascade," the basic juggling pattern. Intermediates will focus on a variety of 3-ball tricks, 4 balls, 6-ball passing, rings, and clubs. Formal group and individual instruction will personally challenge each juggler to achieve a variety of goals. Camp includes 2 snacks/beverages, unlimited Chippewa Spring Water (bring water bottle), and equipment use. SPECIAL OPTION: Members of JUGHEADS may come all day one day instead of two mornings.
Three hours with a gym full of eager jugglers means lots of practice time, personal records and increased mastery of this ancient art and sport. This option is for self-directed, focused jugglers who are up to the challenge of continuous personal progress. Minimum standards: 5-balls and 6-club passing. However, experienced campers may attend this camp instead of (or along with) the morning camp. Includes 2 snacks/ beverages, unlimited Chippewa Spring Water (bring water bottle), and equipment use. SPECIAL OPTION: Members of JUGHEADS may come all day one day instead of two afternoons.
This all-day
camp is the most challenging event of the JUGHEADS Youth Juggling Company.
Goal-setting, Catch-Averaging sheets, The Perfection Pyramid, advanced
skill work, and choreographing routines make this camp a nutshell sampler
of the intense MEGA Juggling Club. All this, along with optional trick-offs,
club combat, endurance contests and passing make for a productive day
indeed! Tuition includes Subway or pizza lunch and 4 snack items. MEGA-campers
should have basic skills in 6 club passing and 5 balls, but recreational-level
Jugheads will be permitted if there is space. To register, download the 2007-2008 Juggling Camps Registration Form and register by mail, online or inperson. As a courtesy to our planning, please register at least three days prior to any jugging camp session. In
