1. Born on June 9th when the summer was nigh
He came with a twinkle in soul and in eye.

2. Third child of Larreas-a namesake, they say;
He went by his elegant mid-name, Andre.

3. Vivacious, alive, and a joy to his kin,
His presence arose ere the gloomiest din.

4. Compared with the jokers on his mother's side,
His social engagement poured forth like a tide.

5. A vid-yo game addict; not fearful of noise;
He modeled the life of a typical boy.

6. A passionate person, "intense" was his norm,
From the day he was born, he loved to perform.

7. A Christian, his faith was essential and true,
He shared Christ with others-he loved Whom he knew.

8. A winsome young man at home, school and steeple:
Exemplified "How to Win Friends and Love People."

9. Though his years numbered just over three plus a dozen,
He invested much love in his siblings and cousins.

10. His life was cut short; we don't fully know why.
But our God is sov'reign-we know he's alive.

11. For those who know Jesus, this isn't "good-bye,"
But "extended farewell" 'til God calls us to die.

12. At the last trumpet, when Christians are raised,
We'll go Home together-Great God be praised!

13. The grief over dear Andre's death will be hard;
We wonder why God has allowed such a card.

14. But take heart! And glorify God's flowing grace
That paid for his sins in the very first place!

15. Forgiven, he'll suffer not with Adam's race!
He's righteous and pure, without stain-not a trace!

15 ½. He lives with his Savior right now-face to face!
