"Thanksgiving"

Because of its obvious spiritual origins, the very word “thanksgiving” may soon be outlawed by the Politically Correct Thought Police. This is unfortunate for those of us who believe that “every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above...” (James 1:17). However, even in secular settings, every human being on earth can practice an attitude of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is dependent upon humility; we are thankful for that which we couldn’t have received or achieved on our own. This month, try to remember and celebrate just a few of the millions of things, be they relational, material, physical or spiritual, for which you are thankful. A thankful heart is an antidote to pride, and perhaps that’s why I have remained humble about the existence, let alone the success, of JUGHEADS. I couldn’t have achieved any of this on my own. JUGHEADS (and each of you families) is a gift from God. I am the steward of this gift, but He sustains it. I am thankful!
